Graduates with working knowledge of computers. Two years Technical Course in Electronics/ Telecommunication/Computers with 12 years of Schooling

Aims & Objectives

As Networks are expanding requirements for network support professional is increased having competency in managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, installing and configuring basic network infrastructure.

Developing entry-level IT/Network support engineer responsible for providing a range of support covering desktops, servers, networking, telephony, and security, as well as general office applications.

Server Technologies

Describe different types of servers, and identify hardware and software components used in servers, Install servers into a network environment, Configuring Servers, Backing up Server Data.

OSI and TCP/IP models, Functions of various network devices, Ethernet Networking, Cabling Technologies and Products, Testing, termination and trouble-shooting standards, Latest cabling terminology, Procedures and techniques to install Fiber cables ,Implementing Structured cabling, Cable Tester, Print Servers, LAN/WAN operations, Server Racks technologies

Storage Networking Technologies

Storage protocols and Devices, Selecting intelligent storage solutions, Implementing IP Storage-based solutions, SAN infrastructure

Wireless/Mobility Technologies

Introduction to 802.11 WLANs, Radio Frequency Fundamentals, 802.11 Service Sets, Site Surveying, Antennas, Power over Ethernet, Wireless LAN Operation, and WLAN Security. Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting WLAN

Implementing an IP addressing scheme
