- DIT, Ministry of Communications and Information Technoly, GoI (www.mit.gov.in) Content management system - a simple web-based interface for creating and publishing the information. This includes defining users and groups and restricted access to the site for editing purposes. The CMS based DIT website includes the following features:
- Design and standard navigation features were applied to every page, using global links to ensure a consistent look and feel. We use database technology to run the site and to implement content management systems.
- CMS was developed to allow the storage and manipulation of web site content. CMS users were provided with direct editorial access to defined and appropriate portions of the content through the HTML editor. Interaction with the CMS is an online activity
