Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Science (Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunications/ or equivalent) with some experience or;
Graduate of Industrial Training Institute in any of the areas mentioned in the Course contents, with some experience or;
Two years technical course in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication after 12 years of schooling. 1-2 Year expereince in System Administration/IT Support

Aims & Objectives
The use of information technology tools for sustained economic growth is becoming exceedingly important in this era of globalization. The Nations are rapidly switching over to e-Governance and e-Commerce to improve efficiency and productivity of their respective economies. This has given rise to a tremendous demand for establishing and maintaining the Computer and Telecommunication Networking infrastructure.
The programme aims at imparting Network Establishment, Administration & Management skills for high speed Gigabit Ethernet LAN and WAN connectivity for organizations.
To develop skill sets for planning, establishing and administering the networking infrastructure using LAN and WAN technologies, operating systems and switching equipment.
To familiarize the participants with the recent advances in the Networking and Telecommunication Technologies.
To impart management skills for managing Network Management Technologies.

Wireless LAN Administration
Introduction to 802.11 WLANs, Radio Frequency Fundamentals, 802.11 Service Sets, RF Power Output Regulations, Power over Ethernet, Wireless LAN Operation, 802.11 Analysis and Troubleshooting, Site Surveying, configure advanced feature in APs and Bridges .

VPN operations implementing site-to-site IPSec VPN, Implement Cisco device hardening, secured administration access, network access control, functions & operations of firewall and IDS, remediating network incidents, promoting network availability.
