Project Implementation and Project Planning
Implementation involves set-up and installation of the new system and trained staff to use it and then monitor how it operates for initial problems, and then regularly maintain thereafter.
Project planning is the same activities applied to a single project. The project is usually independent of other projects within the organization but dependent on its context. In Project planning, resources are recruited and hired for the life of single project and resources do not expect to be retained within the project team beyond the life of the project. Our projects are dissimilar to each other. Critical path techniques are used for establishing most efficient process for project achievement. Here the planning is concerned with the ‘how’ issues as well as ‘when’ issues. Demand of resources is never minimized. There is a definite start and end to the project and there is one single objective behind our product while we plan our project.
